The Problem

TD games haven't felt creative since the Flash era.

I'm just placing towers on a fixed path. There's no creativity left — every level has a right answer and I found it in ten minutes.

If you played Desktop Tower Defense, GemCraft, or Vector TD back in the day, you remember what it felt like to build something clever. To route enemies through a maze you designed, watch a boss get shredded because your layout was just right.

  • Fixed paths mean every player has the same experience. There's nothing to build.

  • Pay-to-win IAP turns strategy into a wallet contest. Skill doesn't matter.

  • Energy systems punish you for enjoying the game. Play more, get penalised.

  • No maze bonus means a long, clever path rewards you with nothing. Why bother?

The Core Mechanic

Build longer. Deal more damage.

Bushwack TD has no predetermined path. Every tower you place is also a maze wall. Enemies walk whatever route your maze forces them to — and every extra tile of path you build increases the damage every single tower deals.

Place towers to build your maze

Walls, arrow towers, ice, fire, and poison — each placement extends the path enemies must travel.

Enemies route dynamically

The BFS pathfinding engine recalculates the enemy route in real time whenever you place or upgrade a tower.

Longer maze = damage multiplier

The further enemies walk, the higher the multiplier climbs. A brilliant layout beats a bigger gold spend every time.
